A "friend" of mine that I thought I could trust just sent me an apparently disguised link to a site that hit me with the FBI moneypak virus (maybe he was hacked and I just thought it was him in the email, I don't know). I freaked out and immediately restarted my computer, and then did a virus scan with AVG, SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes and it came up clean. I'm also not getting any of the weird start up stuff like anyone else I read about, so I assume I'm safe and it was just a a scare site and and I didn't get the virus? It's been known since I believe 2012 so I would assume that certain browsers would be safe, and antivirus should be able to catch it, right?
