Router To Router Connection

i need to cascade 2 routers (wrt54g) to share internet connection from a single dsl modem. how do i do it? any suggestion?
current setup: dsl modem - wrt54g - 2wiredpcs (ok) and wireless notebook (ok).
tried to link the cable of the second wiredpc to the internet port of the second wrt54g to no avail.

I don't know that router but my linksys has a setting Gateway\Router. Set the router connected directly to the modem as the Gateway and the second router (connect it to the first router) to router via the port labeled upload. On the first router you will need to enable the DMIx switch if it is not automaticily detecting the second router. Otherwise you will need a crossover cable to connect the first and second router. You can hookup several routers like this.
