I built my computer some months back. It has elected not to turn on to-day so I could use some help in confirming my suspicion that it's the PSU. No light on the motherboard when plugged in, and no response of any kind to buttons and electrical stuff.
I tend to put it in sleep mode, not shut down, which I thought was the preferred practise these days. A couple of weeks ago it wouldn't respond to any thing but the power button to get it out of sleep mode. Turned out that was a memory leak I think (overloading the USB ports), which restarting fixed it.
A couple of days ago, it started again not responding to mouse and keyboard input whilst in sleep mode, but the power button worked fine.
Google indicated this was a minor problem and no-thing to worry about, something faulty with hibernation setting that once I made myself find the commands wouldn't be hard to fix.
Additionally, only this week, when not responding to keyboard and mouse input it'd take a good fifteen minutes to be fully awake and ready for use.
Last, I recall a blue screen for a 'driver power state failure' within the past few days.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Edit: I use it nearly all day every day and I use very taxing game development, animation/modelling, and audio production software, if that matters. This means additionally that it was working fine last night and this morning it wouldn't resume from sleep.
