My standard first IE screen when I click on IE, is always google search window.
Every once in a while, Microsoft hijacks the page. I don't now recall what it wants to do, but it's likely about updates (I haven't done last Tu patches yet, waiting for feedback).

I don't know whether they install a clock-operated temporary hijacker or do it by some other means.
In any case, today, again, Zone Alarm told me that another site is trying to replace the page, sure enough it was Microsoft in the address line. I denied. I'd hate to get another genuine advantage or anything like that.

Does it happen to anyone else?
