With the help of a BleepingComputer analyst I fixed a virus issue on my wife's laptop about a year ago. However I have recently discovered that Windows updates haven't worked since those fixes were made.  Can somebody help?

We have been unable to download the Farbar tool on 2 computers and 2 different OS. Is there a different utility that we could use?

Is the download blocked by Norton or some other security program?

This program is safe so dequarantine it or accept the download.
