There is a virus (more than one?!) calling itself NAPSTAT.EXE In Task Manager, I can see it using up tons of memory.  The little blue circle is always spinning even when I am not running any programs.  Both Microsoft Security Essentials AND MalwareBytes freeze upon running.  Malware won't even get through its own update.  This is very similar to the problem I had a few months ago--same evidence, different virus name.  I run Windows 7 on a Dell desktop.  Please, please help!  I will give money for beer!

I think I was able to fix the problem with my antivirus software, that I finally got to work after I rebooted the computer several times.  I am sorry to have bothered you--I just panicked!  And you have been so helpful in the past.  I am all set now.
