Hi everybody, and Happy Holidays, :santa:

I have a Micro Express desktop computer about one year old running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit), and it uses an Asus Z87-Deluxe motherboard.  I am not a big audio buff, but I am tired of using my USB headphones just to occasionally listen to YouTube, etc.  So, I am thinking about purchasing a Bluetooth speaker.  I was researching them a bit and I read many issues about needing A2DP, and the lack of a Windows 7 driver for it.  My questions are:

How do I know if I have A2DP?

Do Bluetooth speakers provide the required drivers?

Do I actually need A2DP?

Thank you all,

George
