hey there!, recently i installed the beta version of windows media player 11 and at first when i installed it, it caused my computer to shut down and restart as soon as i would o startup wmp. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again, and the problem seemed to have been solved, but now the problem is that when i start up and log on my computer, it just automatically restarts itself.

I am running win xp sp2

I have no idea what the problem is so any help would be very appreciated.

Use Windows System Restore to revert your system state to a date preceding the problem.

click on
system tools
system restore

the wizard will open giving you a choice of dates.
Choose on from before you "updated" to the beta.
