How much do you spend on groceries every week?
I was just wondering what everybody has to pay to eat.

Also how many people do you feed?

We have a family of 4 and every 2 weeks we spend like 120-130 on groceries.

Hmmm ... you've made me really think about it, Cowsgonemadd - grin! (Normally, I pretend I'm 'blind' when zipping up and down the aisles as the prices have a tendency to make me hyperventilate).

There are 2 of us to feed and it comes to about $250 every two weeks. (Nope, no junk-food - just expensive area of Canada we live in).

That brings up a good question. I thought about it, and there are 3 of us, My 3 year old daughter, my Wife and myself, and Id say we spend about $200 bi-weekly, give or take about $25. That just seems too much, considering with the exception of my daughter, my wife and I only eat twice a day normally, and the only meal is Dinner. I usually eat fruit in the morning, and maybe a sandwich in the afternoon.

My point is, your question made me take a gander in the pantry, and I just realized that we could probobly eat for a month from what is in there, yet we still continue to buy more.

Thanks CGM3, Im gonna go and see if I can't get myself a night on the couch, and save a couple bucks at the same time!!! LOL

nos

If it were not for the dairy our bill would be up there a lot. We drink about a gallon of milk a day...Between us and sometimes more.
3 bucks a gallon x 31 = 93 bucks..give or take

Gotta love the internet...

Well I think my mom spends like 400$ bi-weekly on grocceries. Family of 4 2 adults, me (16), bro (11)... that is canadian currency and you gotta hate living in remote areas of canada...

Yeah and that doesn't include the wild meat (moose, ect...)
