My Dell Laptop refuses to install anti virus

Please help my dell laptop refuses to install antivirus when ever i tried installing any......

It could be malware is blocking it. Which program are you attempting to install and what previous

or existing antivirus is/ were installed?

What error message if any are you seeing?

i uninstalled Norton then i tried installing avast so it refuse to install then i get a northon cd, but still telling there is trouble installing.....

Norton has a tool you can use for uninstalling. Often just uninstalling from the Add/ Remove list doesn't do a good enough job.

Uninstall your Norton product using Norton Removal Tool
