New to this forum but not need to online communities. I am usually on car forums but decided maybe its time to join a computer one bc thats how i earn my living. I went to Anthem Institute (formally Chubb) about 4 years ago and I have only about 3 years experience in the field. I went from an internship at a fortune500 doing helpdesk, to a few contract positions during the XP death era to to help them migrate to windows7, to landing a full time permanet gig at a MSP that caters to small-medium sized businesses. After about 11 months, business became very slow. And since I was the last one on, I was the first one to go Luckily, within a week, I found a new place of employment (well, they found me!). I was contacted by my resume being viewed on one of the main tech job sites and boom a week later I am back working at a fortune500 doing desktop support for the 100 on site executives at their HQ. Unfortunately, I am very underpaid but the experience is worth it and the economy is tough. I work on a team of IT professionals and so far so good.
