Hi! I saw your post on the other thread and didn't want to hijack. Are you practicing any martial arts now? My brother "plays" and teaches Capoeira (Angola Palmares). It's really interesting to watch. I personally have no skill whatsoever past the ginga. My husband is a "little brother" or step in instructor to his sifu for wing chun. I have done some practice with this and find that it comes naturally to me. Hopefully, someday I will have more time to devote to it. With what I have learned so far I think it's a very good self defense tool. Especially, when your opponent is larger that you. Again, also very fun to watch, reminds me of Neo in The Matrix.

Heya,

it's been a while now. I stopped doing Taekwondo about 5 years ago. It was the last martial art I practiced. I tried some quite artistic KungFu, Aikido and Taekwondo.. The last definitely fit me best as it is closer to being a sport than a philsophy. I should probably start again, it was really enjoyable, but the time has become an issue too.. Never enough time for anything. :(

regards

myrti
