Win 8.1 problems?

Since I performed a new windows installation I have a Windows.old on my screen and no matter what I do I cannot delete it.I have tried every trick in the book but still it is there,it keeps coming up with delete it from DAVE PC/dave,I have tried but it still wont go.I am using Win 8.1

Still the same trick,use disk cleanup.

Yes, the similar instructions apply for Windows 8.1 too.
