My computer eats a lot of hard drive space after auto update windows vistas in December 2014, I thought it may be a malware or virus but after clearing all, and then deleting all the programs which I installed such as YTD downloader.  After this the free space on my 80 gig hard drive was 30 gigs.

Suddenly 3 days back I found hard drive has only 1.2 gig free space.

Please let me know what is eating my hard drive space.

You can use a tool like WinDirStat to see the locations of file/folders on your hard drive, as well as the sizes of such.
