Ran Malwarebytes, now all I get is blinking cursor

Windows will not boot, I created a rescue disc and ran FRST64... but I'm a little lost on how to fix.


Any suggestions?

I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.

Open notepad (Start =>All Programs => Accessories => Notepad). Please copy the entire contents of the code box below.

HKLM-x32\...\Run: [] => [X]
HKLM-x32\...26dfa299cadb\InprocServer32: [Authentication UI Logon UI]  <==== ATTENTION!
S2 HP Support Assistant Service; "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Support Framework\hpsa_service.exe" [X]
S3 hpqwmiex; "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Shared\hpqWmiEx.exe" [X]

Save the files as fixlist.txt into the same folder as FRST

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

Restart the computer normally to reset the registry.

The tool will create a log Fixlog.txt please post it to your reply.

I need you to run the Farbar tool normally and post a fresh FRST log for my review.

Let me know what problem persists.

If all fails try to restore you computer to a previous date.
