Hey folks! First time posting here. I was sleeping in bed when my grandmother showed up with a PC she got from QVC. Unfortunately for her, she has a problem and needs my help. She was mumbling something about a proxy server or something absurd but in the end I figured it was probably a setting that is out of whack.

Low and behold, NOTHING I do can remove the proxy settings on the laptop and therefore cannot get this thing working. I cannot access the internet and I've done a scan with Malwarebytes, and cleaned it up but still can't do anything about it.

I read some old threads on here about FRST so I downloaded it on my working computer and then transferred it over to the other one, but haven't had luck and I'm not really sure how to use it properly. I was hoping for some help and would appreciate any insight and lessons I can learn from this headache of a problem!

Thanks and happy holidays!

NOTE : I also don't know how much information you guys would need to point me in the right direction, but I can get
