looping burned cd

I burned a video ts file on windows 8.1 and played it back on vlc player but .25 way through it starts looping how/can I fix this issue I haven't tried other media players yet.

If you are using VLC with the default skin, then down at the bottom left corner there is a row of buttons. The one second from the right is the loop control. Make sure that this is switched to 'Off'. You will see it, and shuffle, arrowed in this image.-

An alternative is a faulty CD.
