I am having windows 7 ultimate and i installed windows xp sp 2. I m able to use both windows 7 and windows xp and i even have a backup of my bcd by easybcd. But foolishly i changed the active drive from windows 7 (in C) to other drive where xp is installed. But suddenly after that my other logical drive became unpartitioned. It happened suddenly in seconds. Now i don't know how to recover my data from my unpartitioned drive. In disk management it shows to create new simple volume.
I haven't repartitioned or formatted the drive till now.
Please someone help me.

I don't know any free software that could do the job, I use StellarPhoenix Data recovery and more then satisfied with results in cases like this.

I would like to point out why I prefer Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery. Few years ago my HDD partion dissapear and couldn't get access to files. I tried most of free software and some of the files I managed to get back but none of files that used Croatian letters in filename like: č,ć,š,đ,ž letters. Only software that managed to get me back those files was Stellar Phoenix. To most people this is irrelevant but to me that piece of software saved my life.

Thanks all for your precious time and suggestions. But after full one day searching on web, i got this tool-
http://www.easeus.com/partition-recovery/
This tool addressed my exact problem and my deleted partition is back now.
Since my data was intact and unharmed i didn't needed any data recovery operation.
Once again thanks.

We don't normally close topics in this forum...unless there is some administrative reason.

Happy computing :).
