I am usually so careful with virus and spam emails.  My package from USA was late for my girlfriend's birthday.  I had contacted the seller and my local post office with no luck.  Just before bed i quickly check my emails and saw the fedex delivery email.  I had never seen this before but since my parcel was late i assumed it was for me - I was wrong !!!

AVG didn't quite do the job and i got infected.  Popups asking me to update security etc were on my screen, they even used icon's similar to the windows ones.  I could not access the internet, it would let me use AVG to scan but not malware or Ad-Aware.

I managed to get in safe mode F8 on startup.  I ran Malware and it found 13 items.  Ran combo fix and got nothing.  I am now currently running a free Microsoft one here that appears to be lengthy and picked up 3 items.

I am now following this guide and listing my results
