5 keys on Laptop not working

i am using HP Elite Book 8260 P. Yesterday the keys on my keyboard was working fine. But today 5 keys on my laptop are not working " QWERU " these are the five keys which are not working on my laptop.

what could be the reason why these keys are not working?

The most common reasons for laptop keyboard failure are dust/dirt, spilled liquids or physical damage. If you don't think that is your case than you can try the following:
Turn off the laptop, unplug the power cable and remove battery. Press and hold the start button for 30 - 60 seconds. Put the battery back in and start the laptop.
If that doesn't work either - maybe it's probably best to take the laptop to a specialist and most probably a keyboard replacement will be needed.
