my windowz firewall wasn't working properly on xp service pack #2, so i decided to un-install service pack #2 and go back to #1. so after doing so, i got an error message with the wininet.dll... which i first, tried to solve by re-installing service pack #2... getting the same error message, the only way i saw possible to fix the error was to change the name of the .dll, restart and replace the file... i did so, and it seemed to work out well, but i recieved new error messages when i started-up programs... so, the shwlapi.dll was my new problem... but after doing the same thing to correct my problem, on restart, i couldn't even get to winlogin because it needs that .dll to run... is there any way i can add the file through a floppy disk to win32 in the windows section of the harddrive?!? or just anything else without losing all my files... or maybe just a way to get into the harddrive without loging in......
