I purchased a new monitor today and connected my windows 7 PC with an HDMI cable

Everything seemed ok

This PM I found that I have lost all my windows mail emails, all pictures, etc

My System restore  has no restore points

My Mircosoft packages look these are newly installed and I have no saved files.

My passport backup drive has noting on it

Any idea what happened and I can fix this

No power options

No  virus or malware as of this morning

  Thanks

Tom
