Just inherited my wife's old laptop. ( Advanced Notebook Solutions Model DL75 )

It had been able to connect to our Comcast Broadband system both through a cable and wirelessly from our router before the install.

I used my Windows XP Home, CD to do a fresh install ( including a Format ) The operating system installed ok, but when I try to use the wizard to setup a new connection, it will not connect to the net.

Any suggestions?

Most likely you need the network LAN driver, Wireless & probably other drivers. Look for your model here: http://advancednotebook.com/drivers.asp

It would appear to be this: http://advancednotebook.com/sa7000c.asp

Download the ISO file & use a program such as ImgBurn ( http://imgburn.com/index.php?act=download ) to burn the ISO as an Image to a CD/DVD to make an original driver disk.

I never make the same mistake twice....I always make it 5 or 6 times just to be sure!

Thanks. I looked again and found the original cd with drivers on it.
Ran all drivers, and now it's going great.

Appreciate the input.
