Some programs that I download don't show up in my programs. I have to enter the program in search & it appears. It's in Computer © but it's all the contents of the program. This has happened several times and I reinstall the program but get the same results. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Programs that have no install routines...such as those in .zip files/folders...aren't reflected in listed programs installed.  They don't use an installer so they don't appear.
