Can you uininstall it in Safe Mode? If not then download Revo Uninstaller Pro, 30 day demo.

Tap F8 at boot and select Safe Mode from the menu. The computer will load with a minimum set of drivers. Try Uninstalling Pinnacle. If that does not work uninstall the program with Revo.

Thanks for posting your solution. I should have thought about that fixit. It can help with programs that do not uninstall correctly.

So...do you think my fear of trying to re install is justified ?

What is the reason you are afraid to reinstall? Did the first try go bad? The system requirements listed Visa for the OS. If you are running Windows 7 try installing in compatibility mode.

I'm on Win 8 & ran fine for 2 years , then I refreshed & it was removed ( or so I thought ) & i tried re installing & it acted screwy . Then it wouldn't leave .

Now it's gone & i'm scared to re try installing .

Something's got to be funny with this software , I got up the courage to try re installing it & made it as far as the first progress screen & waited for it to do something for 15 minutes & nothing happened .

$100.00 down the drain  :smash:
