I recently built a new computer with the following hardware:

I have Windows 7 64bit installed. I have the most recent bios and drivers installed (that I know of.)

The computer is not overclocked.

When I'm using my computer (could be doing anything: browsing, playing a game, watching a video, etc), sometimes the keyboard and mouse will randomly stop working, and sometimes the sound too.  Whatever the computer is doing will continue, but just the mouse and keyboard don't respond anymore.  If I plug them into different usb ports, nothing happens.  The only thing to do to fix it is to restart the computer.

Here are the last 10 errors from minitoolbox:

The first thing I would do is check your cables on your keyboard and mouse.Do they always stop working at the same time?If so,and the sound as well is intermittent, you could have a faulty Motherboard. You also could have gotten a virus during your downloads. Turn off your virus protection and do a scan with any well known product - Adaware-Malewarebytes-Escan are just a few-
