How do you get around them? Why are they there? You go into a chat on AIM, and you are banned for no apparent reason, can anyone do it?

About the only way you can "get around" those programs is to be very circumspect about your choice of words (see my other response) and make of list of words it does not "like."
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
