In several PCs in the network I have found a snmp folder in the directory c:\windows\system32\WEBM. All the clients are Windows XP SP3 profesional. Until I know this folder isn´t installed by default with Windows XP and we don't use snmp. Why are these folders there? Is necessary to install something to have these folders?. These folders are empty.

Best regards.

The foldier is apparently installed by default, I have it (empty), same file path that you stated.

Windows installs all sorts of empty folders and unneeded files as part of the default install or the critical updates or the SPs.

Hi Louis,

Thanks for your answer. I think that this folder is not installed by default because I haven´t seen this in new Windows xp sp3 installations with all the critical and security updates.

Best Regards.
