It looks like a pretty much brand new drive. Why are you concerned?

Ok, I am not sure of that software or its reliablity.

Please download and test with HDDScan, check the SMART test and the surface tests.

Let us know what you see.

The high reallocation event count is cause for concern, you should definitely do the surface tests.

I don't know those other applications, though I have not had a false reading with HDDScan for several years.

well for 2hours the scan was only at 20% and after the icon of the program dissapeared and when i open the program there was no task going on.

as i told you i did surface scan complete with hard disk sentinel and hd tune pro.

any other suggestions or things i can do to be sure about the hdd condition?

Re-allocation is a strong sign there are bad sectors.

When doing a surface scan you must do nothing else with the machine for the results to be accurate, and the process can often take 5 hours or more.

I know of no other way to check a disk for physical errors.

The disk is relatively new anyhow, if you are really worried, back up your data and return it under warranty.

Hi Paulos,

I'm sorry to say, there can be no doubt, the disk is failing physically. I suggest you back up any important data because all will be lost soon.
