Bsod even safe mode menu has jumbled chars

I have a dell notebook.. I get a bsod when I try to boot... Bios looks ok.. If I try f8 to get to safe mode..the safe mode menu has jumbled characters in the text.. You can read most of it.. But much are just random characters. This is a new one for me... Has anyone every seen this?.. If I try any safe mode option I get

aNY ideas?

What is the bsod message?


How many ram chips do you have? If you have more than one you could try running each alone and see if it still does it.
