         Hello everyone,

My Machine gets infected with a rootkit that targets the FastFat area each time I install Windows

The infection happens before I manage to install Network Adapter drivers.

I would like to remove the source of this infection, since I don't have the awareness and know how to do this myself.

I used Hiren's Boot CD and GMER to detect this rootkit.

My machine is an IBM NetVista 8307
