Hello, I have by accident formatted data from a usb memory stick.

Is there a way to retrieve the data back, any help would be really appreciated.

I hope I'm at the right place here, if not please guide me, thank you.

Kind regards.

Jarens

There's lots of software out there to help you recover lost data. I've had good luck with Recuva (from the same company that makes CCleaner): https://www.piriform.com/recuva

Best of luck.

Hello,

You may have a good chance of recovering your data. The best way to do so is by using a data recovery software, such as the one @j4m3s recommended. Of course, there are other available as well, free as well as payed. The choice is up to you.

It's very important that you don't save any new files to USB drive before files are fully recovered.

Another option is to send the USB drive to data recovery center but usually this is costly and hopefully a recovery software will do the job, before it comes to that.

Best of luck, Citizen_WD
