This afternoon, I update my ASUS X551M laptop (Windows 8.1) with the two latest Windows Updates. Upon re-starting the computer after the updates complete, I get an infection notice from Webroot SecureAnywhere that I was infected with W32.Rogue.Gen, or something to that effect, the first infection in the nine months of owning this laptop. After removal (or so I thought), I re-start the computer only to find now there's no way for me to sign-in.
