windows installer problem

Hello.  I have a toshiba taptop and everytime I turn it on, a windows pops up from try app. and then another window pops up wanting to install hp product assistant and I'm always having to keep pushing the  cancel button several times before it finally stops , but then it will pop up again and again, and its just doesn't stop. its is so annoying.  Can anyone help me?

First thing to try: go into control panel, Programs and Features, and uninstall the hp product assistant, or other HP updater type software. But do not uninstall important software that you need.  If you can't tell which is important, then, be careful :)
