hello I posted this question in a different forum but im starting to think its my hardware. I recently build a new computer and my computer will lock up frequently to where its completely unresponsive and my mouse and keyboard don't work plus the sound all goes to static. This happens only when watching videos, playing games, or being on skype for the most part. Can this be my GPU messing up or could something with my mobo be bad? A couple friends suggested that it could be that, but i'm not sure how to find out.

Posting on more than one forum doesn't help the situation. Did you get any responses in the other forum?

If so stick with that thread. If it needs to be moved to a different forum a moderator can get that done quickly and easily

Have you checked on the temperatures of the CPU and GPU?

Keep us posted
