I have managed to access itunes and sign in. However to buy music another box has come up. "Open with applications " then a list of documents come up. i dont know how to proceed.

Are you accessing itunes from your ipod, ....or from your computer ?


Condobloke ...Outback Australian  fed up with Windows antics...??....LINUX IS THE ANSWER....I USE LINUX MINT 18.3  EXCLUSIVELY.

Are you accessing itunes from your ipod, ....or from your computer ?

My computor. By the way, my itunes icon is now back on my screen.

Close that open with applications and look for the ITunes latest version. 

 

Have you made sure you have the most current version of ITunes is installed.

Windows
1.Open iTunes

2.From the menu bar, choose Help > Check for Updates. In earlier versions of iTunes, you can find this option in the Advanced menu. Learn how to show the menu bar.
3.Follow the prompts to install the latest version.

ok....i am starting to get a sense of this problem now....

 

I have not used itunes for years now, and am a bit out of touch

 

As wjldcc suggested, check for updates...if there is no update and your problems persist......uninstall iTunes, reboot, and then Reinstall.
