Hi im a new user here. i have a question to ask whether you guys can help me choose something to write about in my mini project/report (ca .13 pages)

 

we have gone through things like: cryptography, digital identities, access control, openid, ssl, TCP/IP, Malware, etc. 

 

i really need help to choose a topic, and have something i can analyze and write about. it can be any topic in the field of computer security,

13 pages, huh? Since you are having difficulty picking one topic. Why not choose computer security. Then give a brief overview of what each component of computer security is and does as you see it. I think that could easily take 13 pages. Good luck with your report/project.

Also pick up topic that will be easy for you to write about and explain in your own words. The more technical of a topic you pick, the harder it may be for you to understand the research or write about.

Hi. Thanks for your replies.

Me and my teacher found that heartbleed would be an exiting topic to write about.

First some technicality about SSL and OpenSSL then analyze the vulnerabilities of the bug, and impact on businesses etc.
and my a case where i try to do it real life, if I can manage.

What do you thing of this topic ?
