Hi Masonw123.

I would first try opening Word in safe mode to see if it works normally by doing the following:

1. Open a Run window (Windows key + R)

2. Copy and paste this command: Winword /safe

3. Click OK

If Word is working normally is the safe mode, follow these steps and disable Com add-ins:

1. Open Word from your program list.

2. Click on File> Options> Add-ins.

3. Click on ‘GO’ beside Manage – ‘COM Add-ins’ and UNcheck the add-ins

4. Click ok.

5. Close and open Word again.

See if this helps.
