This been happening for two weeks. Every time I turn on my computer the screen will go black immediately. Also when I wake my computer from sleep mode it goes black.

I have to keep turning my monitor on and off for like 10 minutes until the monitor works again.

I know Its not a loose cable. I'm pretty sure its the monitor that's damage. But what exactly is causing the problem? and how do you fix it?

My monitor is an HP w1907

Welcome Zodiac*99*,

Are your OS and graphics drivers all current?

Do you have another monitor you can plug in for testing?

How old is the monitor?

Keep us posted
