Howdy everybody. I was pointed to this site by an AOL remote agent that was helping my mother fix up her puter and I'm finding it to be a very useful site indeed.  I have come to the conclusion that cnet is as infected by crud as anything I've seen before, so I no longer trust the site for anything, sad as that seems.  I hope to learn a lot here and use this site often for same.  I recently completed the CCNA course at my local college and plan on going on to get an Associate's degree in Computer Networking which also includes some Windows server classes a Unix class and three Linux Admin type classes as well as the CCNA classes I've already completed. Tis my long term plan to earn certs. from now on up to CCIE and/or CISSP.  I figure I'll be going to schools from now until I die :).  I had a BALL in the CCNA course and see that as much more entertaining than sitting on the couch vegging out watching TV by far.  I'm in my early 50s and have a Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology (1986) and have been in various fields mainly Telecommunications (outside and inside plant, & LAN construction mainly) though and figured it was time to get updated and carry on foreward.  So that's who I am and where I plan on going.

Sincerely,  TimeVIrus :)
