Boot to safe mode and select "last known good configuration".

Do you have more than one installation of Windows on this computer?

I would like to see what is in your boot.ini file.
  • Start
  • right click on My Computer
  • Properties
  • Advanced tab
  • Startup and Recovery 'Settings'
  • hit the EDIT button
This will open your boot.ini file. Copy the contents and post here in this thread so we can review the contents.
