Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I have. I downloaded some free software (BIG mistake I now know) and seem to have infected myself with some type of virus/malware. Under the task manager "processes" tab I notice I have up to a dozen or so browser.exe*32 Google Chrome running. I don't have Google Chrome installed on my laptop. I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to the more appropriate forum.~ Animal

It does sound like you have picked up an infection. I'm going to ask a moderator to move your message over the the Am I Infected forum so that the experts can give you the help you need
