I have an ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard with a USB 3.0 PCIe card installed. The ports don't work properly. They lose the connection after around a minute. Please can someone tell me if this is because my motherboard is incompatible with USB 3.0 or if I need to buy a new card?

The PCI card itself, along with the drivers which run it, support USB3. That is completely aside from your motherboard. It should work.

Maybe there is a driver or configuration issue. Have you tried re-installing the card?
