My operating system is WIN XP Home(SP2). It is NOT a pirated copy but came already installed in the Medion M3 Composer 4215 PC when I purchased it. I have attempted over the last three days, to download the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474) however these downloads failed. The security updates released by MS on Tuesday 13 June were downloaded without problem but again the Genuine Advantage Notification download failed.
Can someone please suggest any way I may overcome this problem. TYI, mchaggis.

I thank you for the addresses you give. Microsoft did come through and after I had followed their directions, I was able to download the Win Genuine Advantage Notification. I am still at a loss as to why, when I had successfully downloaded previous issues of this update, this last one caused problems. Microsoft had me temporarily change my security settings to allow this last update to download, but I had made no changes to my security settings in many moons and certainly not since I downloaded the previous Notification updates.Anyway, your assistance is greatly appreciated. mchaggis.
