I just bought Oblivion, and when I put the disc in, the cursor shows the little disc like its checking the drive, but it doesn't load and when I go to My Computer is just says CD-R Drive like theres nothing in there. I tried just opening and closing it a few times but still nothing.

Is the Oblivion disc a CD or a DVD? It should say either on the disc or the box...

Haahahaa!! I think we've all done it once or twice! DVD Drives (even Dual Layer +/- Burners) are pretty cheap these days. Hey let us know how the game is, it looks pretty good....
