What is stored on a SIM Card? Is it just contacts or media too? I have an R6 Phone http://www.coolmobile.net.nz/mobile/129-large_default/telecom-r6.jpg

If I copy contacts to SIM and put it in a new phone will it be the same with contacts etc? What would happen to my old phone? Would I keep the same number? Would my old phone still receive texts>

Thank You
