Hello,

Trend Micro is repeatedly blocking debrovorda.com/aa/ and rumolottra.com/aa/. A warning box says: "OfficeScan detected a Web security policy violation and blocked the URL(s) listed below" and then it lists the two websites and says their risk level is high. Trend Micro is blocking these sites hundreds of times a day, and a browser does not have to be open for it to happen. I have Googled these two sites and little is said about them except on an Avast forum. I found a malware website that recommended running several programs, and so I tried them, but they did not help. Malwarebytes Premium is running on this computer, but it does not detect the problem.

This is my daughter's school computer. I have it home with me and will be able to do whatever you suggest right away. Thank you!

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control can be found HERE.

As I am just a silly little program running on the BleepingComputer.com servers, please do not send me private messages as I do not know how to read and reply to them! Thanks!

I will post the new DDS as soon as I return home this afternoon. Also, I do not have the original CD because this is a school issued computer. I have a re-image CD which will set the computer back to its original state when it was issued. This is our last resort.

Hello,

I did remove the two lines you mentioned. The computer starts with a screen that mentions the school's name. The school's initials are CA, so I thought these two lines might be for that. If you think I should run it again and include those lines in the fix, let me know.

I have attached the two logs below.

Since restarting the computer, Trend Micro has blocked the two sites 5 times, so it is still happening.

Thanks.

Hello,

This morning I reset all the browsers. I went to update Java, but Java says the latest update (Java 7 Update 71) is already installed. Then it looked for older versions and said there were none. I didn't reset the router because when we got Comcast, the installer had a hard time making the Belkin work. We have six computers that run off it, and if I do something wrong while resetting it, Comcast won't help me because it's not their equipment. Of the six computers that use the router, this is the only one with difficulties.

As a side note, one thing I notice with internet explorer, is that it constantly loses the checkmarks in "Disable script debugging" and "play animations in webpages," in case that's a symptom of anything.

For today, Trend Micro has blocked the two websites 102 times.

Thanks.

They may be remnant of an old Java Installation on your computer.

I suggest you remove it with their un-installer.

If you think you need it you can Install it by referring to this page.

Hello,

Yesterday morning Malwarebytes caught three files and quarantined them. They were each called a Trojan.Downloader. Their locations were C:\Windows\System32\ezmcxmk.dll, C:\Windows\System32\bartyw.dll, and C:\Windows\System32\amjxhw.dll.

After that, the pop-up warnings from Trend Micro stopped. All day yesterday there were none. This morning, I will do as you suggested with Java, and let you know tonight or tomorrow morning if the warnings are still gone.

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

The Trend Micro warnings have stopped, and the computer seems fine! Do I just uninstall/delete the programs I downloaded to help with the problem?

Thanks.

I suggest you keep the Farbar Recovery Tool.
This is the first tool you should use to report any other issues in the future.
===

AdwCleaner is goog to have. Run it every time you download free programs (some will install Unwanted programs without you consent) or when you computer slows down.
It's being revised often, so get the latest when prompted.

The other tools just delete the folders/files.

If all is well.
