I am working on my mom's Toshiba Satellite c655d-s5200. I have already removed several infections(Avast & ESET) as well as maleware using malewarebytes. It was still experience severe performance issues  :ranting:   I ran a rootkit scan with Avast, it found 2, upon choosing any action it returns Error: Access is denied (5). I've attatched a screen shot of the avast results. Also the two hidden files it identified are:
c:\windows\assembly\GAC_32\Microsoft.lnk\6.1.0.0_31bf3856ad364e35\microsoft.lnk.dll

c:\windows\assembly\GAC_32\Microsoft.transactions.Bridge.dtc\3.0.0.0_b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.transactions.Bridge.dtc.dll
I hope I have included enough info, any help with this will be greatly appreciated!
