I used to have a StarWare toolbar. Then I had 2 toolbars. A StarWare toolbar and a YupSearch toolbar. Then, a few hours later, the StarWare toolbar was gone, and it was only the YupSearch toolbar. I didn't remember downloading the YupSearch toolbar, so I tried to uninstall it... When I clicked the uninstall link, it took me to a page that never loads up all the way. I am pretty sure this is some sort of virus, but just to make sure, is it?

BTW-I am completley clueless about computers. Sorry.

I suggest you post a HijackThis log for examination.
A member of the HijackThis Team will walk you through, step by step, how to disinfect your computer.
Once you post your log, don't make any changes to your system, as that could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.

Read How to post a HijackThis Log.
Please read, and follow, all directions carefully!!!

Then, run a log, and post it in the HijackThis forum, at this link. Do not, fix anything, yet.
A member, of the HJT Team, will help you out.
It may take a while to get a response, because the HJT Team are very busy. Please, be patient, as these people are volunteers. They will help you out, as soon as possible.

NOTE:
Once you have made the post, please, DO NOT make another post in the HJT forum, until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. The first thing they look for, when looking for logs to reply to, is 0 replies. If you make another post, there will be 1 reply. The team member, glancing over the replies, might assume someone is already helping you out, and will not respond. So, just make your post, and let it sit there, until a team member responds. This way you will be taken care of, in the most timely manner.

Before I post that big long thing and make you have work even more just because I am an idiot with computers, I just noticed after I ran the ad-aware a few more times, the toolbar went away. Is it fully gone or is it just not visible?

If Ad-aware got rid of it, and you're not having any other problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

Besides Ad-aware, are you using these basic security programs?
(They're all free.)

ewido security suite - Windows 2000 and XP, only.
Spybot S&D
Spywareblaster
SpywareGuard

If not, you need to. These programs, updated and used regularly, will do a lot to keep your computer clean of spyware, trojans, keyloggers, browser hijackers, etc...

Download them, update them, and then run them.

When installing ewido security suite, under Additional Options uncheck:
Install background guard
Install scan via context menu

Important:
Please read this tutorial on Spybot S&D before using it. Spybot can do SERIOUS damage, if not used properly.

Other useful Tutorials:
Using SpywareBlaster
Using SpywareGuard
Using Ewido

What is the Yupsearch Toolbar?

See here.

If the problem reappears download LQfix.exe to your desktop and double-click to install. Leave the default settings and follow the prompts on the screen. Reboot, let the tool finish, then search for and delete the following folder [if present]:
C:\WINDOWS\etb\ <-- this folder
