I hate to dredge up such an old thread, but this is exactly my problem. I have exhausted the same steps the author had as well as every possible forum/help guide I can find.

However, the registry fix seems to have 404'd and I haven't been able to intuit what to look for in these logs. Can anyone help explain to me what this solution was or direct me to somewhere to learn?

Thanks very much in advance.

It seems that you forgot to include which old thread you are referring to.

It would also help if you were to describe what the problem is and what you have attempted to resolve it so far.

What is the make and model of this computer.
